World Meditation Day is Wednesday, May, 21st. To mark the occasion, I'm embarking on a day-long roadtrip across Western Massachusetts, where I'll lead ten meditations to ten different audiences in an effort to prove that meditation can work anywhere because meditation works everywhere.
Here's what you need to know to get involved...
The Route.
Starting first thing in the morning, I'll spend the day speeding up, so other people can slow down, and over the course of 10 hours, I'll visit with and lead meditations for...

The Invite.
Wednesday, 5/21, 6 - 7:30 PM
The Urban Food Brood at Gasoline Alley
Our very last stop of the day is the Urban Food Brood at Gasoline Alley, where there will be a meditation open to the public and, afterwards, a full bar to toast the occasion. There's no need to RSVP or register -- simply show up, grab a seat, and regardless of your experience level, enjoy a guided meditation in one of the truly coolest and most unique spaces Western Mass has to offer. After practice, we'll raise a glass to everyone whose come out, taken part, and spent a portion of their day doing a little less, so they -- and others -- can gain a lot more.
The Support.
Since nobody goes solo -- and since my mom always taught me not to show up empty handed -- our friends at NOSOLO will be sending me with a lot of march to give away to participants throughout the day.
If you don't know, NOSOLO is product with a purpose: an apparel brand born out of Newport, RI, NOSOLO donates 20% of all sales to the National Alliance for Mental Illness; they've also recently launched the NOSOLO Give Back Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to improve mental health on a global scale by providing scholarships, collaborating with schools, and enhancing outdoor community areas to create environments that support both mental and physical well-being. |
The Co-Pilots.
From start to finish, this whole endeavor will be captured, documented, and eventually turned into a short film by two wonderful, creative videographers: Aiden McDonald of Visual Sound Productions and Kayla Ebner of K.Ebner Creative.
What story will come out of this day? We're not totally sure yet -- but as the old saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry, so whatever happens, they'll be on the road with cameras rolling to capture the good, the bad, and the mellow.
